DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, June 1\, 2017 the Westchester County Medical Society and the Westchester Academy of Medicine held their Annual Meeting at the Westchester Country Club in Rye New York.  About 130 members and guests enjoyed an evening of fellowship with colleagues and family\, great food\, networking\, and the opportunity to interact with some of the WCMS Preferred Partners and sponsors.  Outgoing WCMS President Gino Bottino\, MD was thanked for his outstanding leadership and gave remarks on his advice for continuing the fight for the county and state medical societies.  Newly installed President Marshal Peris\, MD an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing with Caremount Medical gave his inaugural remarks and spoke about his personal history\, and his plans for the upcoming year\, which include focusing on the health and wellness of the individual physician\, involving more young physicians\, and coming up with more events that will bring about more attendance from members.  The evening was a great success! \nThe 6th Annual “Friend of Medicine” Award was presented to John Crabtree\, owner of Crabtree’s Kittlehouse in Chappaqua and Rivermarket in Tarrytown in recognition of his ongoing strong support for the medical community and the patients of Westchster County. \n2017 Souvenir Journal\n \nEvent Photos\n \n
